Inspiration in Singapore.

As I wondered into the Peranakan Museum I am distracted by the textures, prints and sculptures. Instantly I found inspiration in the most unusual places.  I am sure you will see some of these images featured in my next designs.

Dreams and Reality.

If you have the time I recommended visit the National Museum of Singapore.

You can always visit the permanent museum on Singapore's history.

I had the pleasure of attending the temporary exhibition dreams and reality featuring the works of Manet, Monet and Van Gogh.

Alexandre Cabanel. The birth of Venus.

Georges Rochegrosse. The knight of the flowers.

Gustave Dore. The enigma.

Carlos Schwabe.

Alfred Stieglitz.

Lewis Hine. An american photographer who was the first to capture working children.

Camille Pissarro. The Harvest.

Phillip Wilson Steer. The young women on the beach or Young Women on the Jetty.

Claude Monet. Boats:Regatta at Argenteuil.

Charles Angrand. Couple in the street.

Alexandre Theophile Steinlen. Colette Steinlen.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. The female clown.

I want to own this pink dress. Not sure who this piece is by but it is titled The Pink Dress.

Gustarve Courbet. The Hunted Roe-Deer  on the Alert.
Beautiful painting but I do not like the title.

Claude Monet.

Marianna Strokes. The Young Girl and Death.

 Vincent Van Gogh. Starry Night.
I could have stood and stared at this one for hours, one of my favourites.
